Founded more than 20 years ago by Rose and Jean-Charles Carrarini, Rose Bakery was launched at its first address – today a Parisian landmark – located at 46 rue des Martyrs.

Rose’s original intention was to erase all the boundaries between home cooking and restaurant cooking. The menu is made up of natural and seasonal products, all of which are organically grown and produced locally. Rose Bakery’s cuisine is firmly based on this love of what is simply good.

Rose is keen to offer dishes that are suitable for all diets, including entirely vegetable-based, gluten-free and lactose-free pastries and cakes. With rigour and excellence, the duo works constantly to preserve the authenticity and integrity of their business. Their honesty has also enabled them to maintain a high level of quality and to gain the loyalty of many regulars.

This has led to the opening of several Rose Bakery locations in Paris – Bon Marché, Musée de la Vie romantique, Maison de Balzac, Jeu de Paume, and most recently at the BNF Richelieu – London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. Each location is a homage to simplicity thanks to a deliberately sober and welcoming decor.
