Kenzo Takada, a pioneer stylist, was the first Japanese to leave his mark on the Parisian fashion scene in 1970 through his brand Jungle Jap, soon renamed Kenzo.
Over the years and seasons, he developed a unmatched and exceptional style born of a rich, joyful and colourful interaction between East and West. Graphic motifs, flowers and stylised animals; his works will always be associated with the greatest freedom.
A curious and passionate traveller, Kenzo Takada now explores other artistic fields by painting and designing collections of decorative objects, ceramics and textiles for Roche-Bobois. So many creations conveying a real “joie de vivre”.
