The Dainty Pizza is the first Slow Dough pizzeria in Chamonix, France. Driven by the desire to offer something unique and different, The Dainty Pizza is inspired by Neapolitan traditions, but with a little twist.
In contrast to traditional pizzerias, this new venue boasts a fresh and colourful identity that is found both on your plate and in the decoration; the light wood reveals bright colours and sparkling patterns, decorated with minimalist furniture.
With ten pizzas on the menu, The Dainty Pizza has perfected each recipe to ensure a tasty and authentic experience for every one of their clients. For example, the Pepperoni pizza combines succulent, ethically-sourced beef pepperoni, with the sweetness of fior di latte mozzarella and pecorino. The ‘Classic’, another signature Dainty pizza, consists of tomato San Marzano and mozzarella di bufala, topped off with a delicious basil oil.
With a classic base, these recipes are then transformed using carefully selected, unusual ingredients, such as honey infused with truffle, flakes of pepper, and lemon olive oil. Cooking with only organic and freshly sourced food, The Dainty Pizza offers an unrivalled culinary experience.
The dough is made using a traditional Neapolitan approach where it is left for 72 hours. This process adds a light and crisp texture to the pizza.
The Dainty Pizza is committed to an ethical and responsible approach, from the choice of ingredients to the packaging. Everything is sourced and prepared to ensure that there is a minimal impact on the environment.
Cooking with only organic and freshly sourced food, The Dainty Pizza offers an unrivalled culinary experience. Whilst the menu is predominantly vegetarian, there is also the option of organically sourced meat, from farmers who are serious about the welfare of their animals. In order to be able to meet the standards of as many dietary requirements as possible, the restaurant also offers the option of homemade vegan cheese.
