Yves Delorme Couture

Yves Delorme Couture: a collection which is dedicated to the desires of its clients and designers’ in order to create the most beautiful bespoke linen.

In 1845, near the capital of Flanders, in the heart of the French textile industry, Ernestine Fremaux and her husband founded a linen weaving company. 170 years later, this linen manufacturer became the luxury linen House of Yves Delorme and is now launching an exclusive Couture line.

Yves Delorme Couture is the Haute Couture collection of the House of Yves Delorme, celebrating the most beautiful materials and textiles, trimmed with hand embroideries, with a refinement and delicacy which had been forgotten.

Isabelle, The Hand, is our ‘Première d’Atelier’ Head Seamstress, and is from several generations of embroidery and seamstress artisans, born with a needle in hand. Isabelle perfected her art until she was nominated and qualified as one of the ‘Meilleurs Ouvriers de France’ – Best Artisans in France.

Jérôme, the Designer of the Couture collection, was educated at l’ESAG Penninghen, studying Interior Architecture and Design. He became passioned by embroidery, couture and all of the possibilities associated; he seeks to bring his eye for architecture creating timeless yet modern collections.

The Yves Delorme Couture team exemplify remarkable savoir-faire in the finest materials: baptiste linen, silk, voile, and sateen percale. The spirit of the suit tailors inspires their weaving techniques and machine embroideries. Custom designs are created at their exclusive studios in the Hauts-de-France where certain designs can take up to 400 hours of work.

Each Yves Delorme Couture’s design goal is to offer complete personalisation. Each sketch, colour, material, thread and measurement are all available made-to-measure. Every season, Yves Delorme reinvents this French art de vivre through inspired and audacious collections whilst maintaining the legacy of Ernestine Fremaux since 1845.

As a member of The Comité Colbert since 2001, The House is now present in 50 countries with approximately 450 stores worldwide.
