The olfactory workshop MAD ET LEN was born in 2007 in Saint-André-les-Alpes in the Gorges du Verdon. MAD ET LEN offers perfumes, candles, and decorative pieces with a brutalist, poetic, and delicate aesthetic. Deeply inspired by the idea that manual labor embodies a form of thought and knowledge, that the hand is a mnemonic entity, and that the body remembers the movements necessary for creation, Sandra Fuzier, Alexandre Piffaut, and Gerry Mensah wanted to integrate craftsmanship into their universe, from the conception of fragrances to that of containers.

Made from simple formulas with ingredients respectful of seasonal cycles, MAD ET LEN scents accurately transcribe natural odors. In a discreet celebration of life, they awaken the senses and revive tender memories like Proust’s madeleine, from which MAD ET LEN derives its name. Immutable rhythm, ritualization of gestures, quest for sobriety, virtuous materials, unique pieces, MAD ET LEN reconnects with the apothecary tradition, the quintessence of artisanal perfumery.
