After a career in film production, Valérie Maltaverne founded YMER&MALTA in 2009, an art furniture studio that revives the French tradition of excellence by infusing it with innovative impetus.

From designing to manufacturing, Valérie Maltaverne oversees the creation through collaborative work with craftsmen. Thanks to this special working method, YMER&MALTA has carved out a unique niche in the world of furniture, at the crossroads of design, art and craft.

As of today, YMER&MALTA has developed 11 collections, always inspired by nature and associated with one or more exceptional forms of savoir-faire. 63 pieces have been exhibited in museums and institutions, and 26 of them have become part of their collections.
