Jeanne & The Forest

Located in Chantilly, the Château de Montvillargenne was built in the early 20th century by Baroness Jeanne de Rothschild and today stands as the largest château-hotel in France. In June 2025, under the vision of the 369° Hotels et Maisons group, the property unveils an ambitious renovation project that preserves its historic soul while embracing a new identity. Reborn as Jeanne & the Forest, it reinvents itself around a concept that blends well-being, work, and leisure.

For this transformation, interior architect Chantal Peyrat drew inspiration from the legacy of Jeanne de Rothschild an avant-garde woman with a passion for art, architecture, and nature. Each space combines the elegance of the Belle Époque with a contemporary aesthetic, reflecting the château’s evolution over time.

The 6-hectare estate is home to three historic buildings the Château, the Factory, and the Hangar. Together, they encompass 119 rooms and suites, multiple dining venues, a bar, a kids’ club, a wellness center (spa, pool, fitness facilities), as well as coworking and event spaces.

Throughout the year, the property offers a wide range of activities designed for both guests and day visitors. Jeanne & the Forest embodies a new art of living where personal life and professional pursuits find balance. The château becomes a serene retreat for families seeking to escape and reconnect, while also introducing a fresh travel experience: the “workation” a fusion of work and vacation for those wishing to work remotely in an exceptional setting.
